Since their establishment in 1872, Essendon Football Club have gone on to win 16 premierships, earning them the equal most out of any AFL team. They won their first premiership in 1891 within the VFA (now AFL) league, and their most recent in 2000 against the Melbourne Demons.
Zach Merrett currently captains the team and consists of 49 players, including our brand ambassador and midfielder Darcy Parish. Essendon Football Club is supported by over 1 million people Australia-wide, with 81,662 members.
