Completed in 8.5 months, this single-storey seaside home creates a real street presence for the area with its feature gables.
Located in the coastal town of Dromana on Victoria’s Mornington Peninsula, this beautiful seaside home is built on a prominent site of over 550m². The vision was to create a home that has a real street presence and appeal for the area while being mindful of and working around neighbouring properties and owners. Therefore, we were delighted to assist Robert & Emma on their building journey and help them navigate the town planning requirements.
The stunning home with a Hamptons-style façade features 10-foot ceilings, a large bay window, and a prominent Craftsman-made portico with feature gables. Robert and Emma began their home journey with a floorplan in mind, the Hawthorn and customised aspects of the home to suit their lifestyle. Their dream home was a perfect summer space, including watercraft storage and additional space to accommodate extended family and grandchildren within its five bedrooms.
Integrated into the living space was a beautiful gas log fireplace. The perfect centrepiece for the home, complemented by Wild River timber flooring in White Oil. Standing apart from the crowd is the stunning feature kitchen with a custom-crafted rangehood, abundant natural light and a butler’s pantry. A COLORBOND® steel roof completes the property in Surfmist.
“Rob and Emma were wonderful clients. They are successful business people with an eye for detail, and they’ve created something special for themselves. We supported them by delivering a quality home in which they could take real pride and share with their extended family, creating beautiful memories.” -Wayne Colomb
“We haven’t built with Premier Traditional Homes before, but I can tell you if we had to build again, this would be our first point of call because they are amazing.” -Emma
We were able to deliver a high-quality design and solution whilst working to a strict budget.
